Mise p\u0159inese informace o stavu antropogenn\u00edch emis\u00ed CO2 a NO2 v r\u016fzn\u00fdch m\u011b\u0159\u00edtc\u00edch (m\u00edstn\u00ed, n\u00e1rodn\u00ed, region\u00e1ln\u00ed, kontinent\u00e1ln\u00ed a glob\u00e1ln\u00ed). Zat\u00edmco v\u0161ak mise CIMR vyv\u00edj\u00ed n\u00e1stroje pro monitorov\u00e1n\u00ed parametr\u016f povrchu mo\u0159sk\u00e9ho ledu, mise CRISTAL se zam\u011b\u0159uje na m\u011b\u0159en\u00ed tlou\u0161\u0165ky mo\u0159sk\u00e9ho ledu a nadmo\u0159sk\u00e9 v\u00fd\u0161ky pevniny. Prim\u00e1rn\u00edm c\u00edlem mise je sledov\u00e1n\u00ed rychlosti evapotranspirace v evropsk\u00e9m m\u011b\u0159\u00edtku s pou\u017eit\u00edm prom\u011bnn\u00fdch teploty povrchu Zem\u011b (LST). Sekund\u00e1rn\u00edm c\u00edlem je podpora mapov\u00e1n\u00ed \u0161irok\u00e9 \u0161k\u00e1ly dal\u0161\u00edch slu\u017eeb, kter\u00e9 by data vysok\u00e9ho \u010dasoprostorov\u00e9ho rozli\u0161en\u00ed LTS mohla vyu\u017e\u00edvat. Jedn\u00e1 se o radar s vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed frekvenc\u00ed, pomoc\u00ed kter\u00e9ho nen\u00ed ale mo\u017en\u00e9 l\u00e9pe proniknout do mnoha p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edch materi\u00e1l\u016f jako je stromov\u00e9 patro, such\u00fd sn\u00edh nebo led. To by m\u011bla ale pr\u00e1v\u011b tato nov\u00e1 dopl\u0148kov\u00e1 mise Sentinel-1 umo\u017enit a podpo\u0159it politiky lesn\u00edho hospod\u00e1\u0159stv\u00ed \u010di udr\u017eiteln\u00e9ho zem\u011bd\u011blstv\u00ed.
